15.75

A beautiful native tree. Yellowwood is a showy addition to your yard. It produces hanging clusters of white, fragrant flowers in May that later give rise to bean pods and yellow fall leaf color. Honeybees are a notable visitor, as they find this tree to be an excellent nectar source to create honey. True to its name, the heartwood of this tree is indeed yellow. It prefers full sun and medium soil moisture. It can grow up to 35 ft in height with a crown spread of 40-50 ft. Deep roots make this a tree that is easy to plant flowers underneath.
