Also may be known as Quaker Ladies. These are small, delicate-looking flowers with light blueish violet petal edges and yellow centers that bloom late spring. The flowers will attract bees and butterflies for its nectar and pollen, and the plant is a host plant for the Spotted Thyris moth caterpillar. They make great additions to rock gardens or woodland gardens.
