Hoary Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum incanum)

11.95

Hoary Mountain Mint, or simply Mountain Mint, has white blooms with sometimes a purple tinge to them that bloom July to September. The flowers are showy and fragrant and attract butterflies. The whitish coloration of the top parts of the leaves near the flower clusters is where it gets its “hoary” name. It makes a great addition as a pollinator plant or in a cedar barren. It will naturalize like most mints, so be aware of it spreading and locate it/prune it accordingly. It is drought, erosion, and dry soil tolerant.
