Spiderwort (Tradescantia virginiana)

11.95

A subtle wildflower, Spiderwort produces small, blue-violet flowers, opening only in the morning over several weeks. It will usually grow to 2 ft. Its native habitat is the meadow, open woods and limestone outcrops. The plant prefers humus-rich soil, but is very adaptable and will grow in a wide range of soils from moist to dry, clay to sand, and acid to alkaline. It is juglone tolerant, so if you have a Black Walnut, this wildflower will grow nearby.
