Fragrant, pink, 2 inch flowers bloom in mid-summer, providing nectar for butterflies and bees. Soon to follow are red hips (fruit) that are eaten by birds and other wildlife. This attractive native rose is perfect for poorly drained, wet soil. Plants will spread slowly by suckers, providing useful nesting spots for birds and cover for other creatures.  Grows 6-8 ft. tall.
