One of the smaller golden rods, this showy, fall blooming perennial is the perfect addition for dry, naturalized areas or cottage gardens. This plant has upright to gracefully arching stalks giving it a vase-shaped appearance. Grows well in soil conditions not favored by most other plants and is tolerant of deer, drought and dry soil. Spreads by rhizomes and seeds.
