GARDEN SITE: Part Shade to Full Shade. Medium, Rich, well-drained soil. Intolerant of dry soils. Avoid hot afternoon sun.

FLOWERS: White blooms with red Anthers, June to July

WILDLIFE: Attracts Hummingbirds and Butterflies

ZONE: 4-8

Erosion, Deer, Rabbit and Wet Soil Tolerant.

A distinctive, mound-shaped, thicket forming large shrub with tall spikes of feathery white flowers in mid-summer. Unlike other buckeyes, Bottlebrush buckeye retains good looking foliage throughout the summer, turning clear yellow in fall. Great species to plant in masses on borders or on woodland areas.
