FLOWERS: Purple/Maroon Blooms April to May

WILDLIFE: Fruits are eaten by many birds & mammals

LARVAL HOST TO: Zebra Swallowtail, Pawpaw Sphinx

ZONE: 5-9

We suggest that at least 3 plants are bought at once to have a better pollination result. Fruit taste resemble banana-strawberry. Young plants need more shade than adults that can tolerate full sun. Effective in moist areas along streams, ponds or rain gardens. Black Walnut and Wet Soil tolerant.
