Grown for its finely textured, semi-evergreen foliage, Cherokee Sedge has an attractive clumping growth habit that makes it a great accent for woodland gardens and consistently moist areas. This native sedge is a fantastic alternative to liriope and can also be used as a substitute for grass in shady spots. Its diminutive size makes this a perfect fit in front of borders or tucked into small garden spaces. Use in raingardens, as erosion control or accents in perennial gardens, borders or alongside paths. Tolerant of heat, wet soil and deer browse.
