FLOWERS: Showy, yellow-gold. August-October.

WILDLIFE: Attracts pollinators and supports the following specialized bees: Andrena accepta, Andrena aliciae, Andrena helianthi, Melissodes agilis, Dieunomia heteropoda, Megachile pugnata and Paranthidium jugatorium. Songbirds and small mammals will eat seeds.

A profusion of bright, golden-yellow flowers borne atop sturdy, dark green to purple stalks will bring both color and architectural interest to your fall garden. The flowers are also an important nectar source for migrating Monarch butterflies and other pollinators. Makes a perfect addition to native, pollinator and rain gardens or in moist naturalized areas. Resistant to deer, salt, poor and wet soils.
