This attractive, evergreen Holly is sought after for its smooth leaves and tolerance for wet, heavy soils. It’s rounded, upright growth habit makes this an ideal choice as a hedge, windbreak or privacy screen. During late spring, tiny whitish flowers will attract a variety of pollinators including the specialized bee, Colletes banksi. Ink Berry Holly is a dioecious species and requires both male and female plants to produce berries, which if present, will attract song birds and small mammals. Resistant to erosion, pollution, rabbits, salt and wet soil.
