White Star Sedge is a unique and long-lived perennial with grass-like foliage and dainty, white, star shaped flowers surrounded by gently drooping bracts. This charming little plant makes a fantastic ground cover in consistently moist areas and is a showy addition to a bog or water garden. As long as you choose a moist location, this sedge will be quite happy in a wide range of soil types including sand, peat and silt. Plant in masses for the best effect!
